Black Cats Video Clip

‘Black Cats’ was the fourth single from my 2009 album ‘Secrets and Lies’. After over 12 months of extensive touring (and an ARIA win!), I was on the way to London on the plane and I got a call from my management instructing me to draw this long list of stuff. A UFO, a cat, a boat, a tree, a newspaper, a creature - the list went on and on. I was so fatigued at the time, i just drew each thing without thinking too much, or asking what it was for! A normal request in my life at that time. After a week in London i got a call to say the video was almost finished … and i was like… WHAT VIDEO?! I was horrified that i hadn’t labored on all the drawings more. I went down to the production studio to see the guys had made puppets and animated all my sketches into this awesome video. I love it so much. Enjoy!
